An Online Food Journal
Food blogging is new to me.
I keep forgetting to take pictures.
Breakfast
Eggwhite omelet with sundried tomatoes and feta
Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Decaf Coffee
(the decaf is recent b/c one day my body told me it didn’t want caffeine anymore)
Snack
I forgot and by the time I realized I was hungry it was lunch time. Lucky I didn’t eat the house.
Lunch
Salmon Patty (recipe to come)
Brown Rice with Mushrooms, Pine Nuts, Onion and Fresh Basil.
(Found the recipe in a since forgotten cookbook years ago. I just throw it all together now.)
Mixed Greens with Trader Joe’s Goddess Dressing
Snack
Sundried Tomato Artichoke Dip and Red Peppers
This is one of my older recipes and I always forget about it. I’m going to try to remember it more often b/c it’s really good especially when I have cravings during PMS.
Dinner
Wild Salmon Fish Tacos With Cabbage and Salsa.
I’m still sort of hungry so I’ll probably go have something to eat before bed. Probably a cheesestick. One of my go to lazy girl foods.
Bodybugg update: Yesterday it told me I burned 2142 calories. That included an hour of taekwondo, 5 minutes of snatches, and hours of sitting on the couch. Hmmm… The jury is still out. I’m hoping it is off by 10% and I really burned 2356 calories. Either way I was in my calorie range yesterday and today.
Hugs and High Fives,
Jenn
Hi! I just stumbled on GH and then this blog, I think somehow through Charlotte @ The Great Fitness Experiment??? But it could just be fate :O) Just had to drop by and say that I love reading your entries, they are so relevant and applicable to my life. It’s nice to have a real world perspective on things, including what you eat… I love counting calories too and get bored with my food easily so it’s great to have a peak into your food world :O)
I think it’s great that your so on top of your weight, nutrition, and exercise. Hey we all have our good and bad times weight wise, but what makes the ultimate difference is how we manage it from that point. Good for you betting the BB…..sounds totally exciting and I can’t wait to see how great your results are going to be.
I’m a food/calorie tracker but honestly, for me, it gets old real fast and I can get obsessed with it as well. I mean my god, if I didn’t plan to eat the apple (fpr example) that I shoved in my mouth I have to go back to the drawing board, click it in and hope and pray I don’t go over my calories for the day. It’s that kind of thing that makes me nuts about counting. However, my anal side likes to be “in the know” about what I’m eating everyday too. So………..I’m just a calorie counting, coufused, complaining, trying to lose weight, trying to get healthy mom LOL!!!!
Love your blogs-thanks!!!
